Legacies of Color

A 6-Week Mural Painting Workshop Series with Clay River

In this residency, participants will collaboratively paint a large-scale
mural using an accessible paint-by-number technique, while learning the
craft of metaphorical design and art advocacy. This guided activity allows
both beginners and experienced artists to contribute to a meaningful
public artwork while fostering teamwork, creativity, and intergenerational
connection.
The mural will be an asynchronous collaboration between the Seniors
participating and foster youth in the community. They will together create
painted imagery exploring passage of wisdom, inner age, belonging and
the power of unity.
